Quick answer
What is an online diff checker?
An online diff checker shows the edits between an original text and a revised text. It marks additions, removals, and replacements so you can review each change in context. KnowledgePilot groups nearby edits into numbered differences you can navigate one by one.

What Is a Text Diff?
A diff describes the edits needed to turn one version of text into another. An addition appears only in the changed version, a removal only in the original, and a modification replaces wording in both.
Review Revisions in Context
Paste a draft and its revision to audit an editor’s changes. The side-by-side readers retain unchanged paragraphs, so a small edit can be judged in the sentence where it occurs.
Track Additions, Removals, and Modifications
The summary counts each group of edits. Jump through them with Previous and Next, or open View all differences for a short index. Clicking a yellow passage selects the paired edit across both readers.
A Diff for Plain Text
This checker examines pasted textual content, including punctuation and spaces. It does not evaluate document styling or visual layout.
