Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use KnowledgePilot.
Effective: September 3, 2026
1. Using KnowledgePilot
By using KnowledgePilot, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information.
Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Your content
You must own, or have permission to use, content you submit. You remain responsible for that content.
You give KnowledgePilot and its service providers a limited licence to host, copy, transmit, transform, and process your content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited records or backups we must temporarily retain.
3. AI-generated results
AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. Check important information before relying on it.
KnowledgePilot does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or medical advice. You are responsible for decisions made using the service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- break the law or another person's rights
- upload malware or harmful content
- interfere with security or service operation
- abuse usage limits or promotional credits
- scrape, reverse engineer, or access the service without permission
5. Payments and credits
Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewal but does not delete your account. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may expire as shown when purchased or in your account.
Consumed credits are generally non-refundable. We may provide a refund for a duplicate charge, billing error, or technical failure, subject to applicable consumer law. Prices may change with notice.
6. Suspension and account deletion
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, commits fraud, abuses the service, or threatens security.
You may permanently delete your account from Profile. Deletion cancels future subscription billing, revokes your unlisted links, removes your user-owned workspace and login, and forfeits unused credits. Limited records may remain where necessary or legally required.
7. Copyright and ownership
KnowledgePilot owns its software, website, branding, interface, and other platform materials. You retain ownership of content you submit. Rights in generated results remain subject to applicable law and any third-party rights.
To report a copyright concern, contact KnowledgePilot Support and identify the protected work, the affected material or link, your contact details, and the basis of your complaint.
8. Service and liability
KnowledgePilot is provided on an “as available” basis and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KnowledgePilot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, business interruption, or losses caused by relying on generated results. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Privacy, changes, and governing law
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
We may update these Terms and will publish the new effective date here. We will provide additional notice or request new acceptance when a material change affects registered users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Western Australian courts have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
