Summarize a PDFFree browser tool
Add durations from pasted playlist text and compare total watch time at different playback speeds. No YouTube API key, AI or signup.
Quick answer
A playlist can contain more viewing time than its number of videos suggests. This calculator finds time patterns in the text you paste and adds them together. It shows the same total at normal and faster playback speeds. Because it works from your pasted text, it needs no channel access, YouTube data key or network request. It does not fetch the playlist from a URL.
A 12:30 lecture and a 24:00 lecture total 36:30. At 1.5× uninterrupted playback, they take 24:20. A duration of 1:05:00 is parsed as one hour and five minutes, rather than one minute and five seconds.
Every matching duration is counted, including duplicates. A chapter list, elapsed-time label or runtime mentioned in a title can look like another video, so inspect your pasted source before relying on the total. Hidden or unloaded playlist entries are not included. The estimate excludes advertisements, pauses and exercises. Faster playback changes time, not the amount of attention difficult material may need.
Good to know
It is free without an account. It uses fixed parsing rules, formatting or arithmetic in your browser, without AI or paid API calls. KnowledgePilot’s AI summarizers are separate products.
Inputs and document files are processed locally. This tool does not upload your text or files to KnowledgePilot. Optional saved drafts stay in your browser, so download a copy before clearing its data.
Review the worked example and limits above. The output follows the information you enter; it does not verify the source or supply missing facts. Check important details against the original material.
